Q1: How do we order with BALI ARTS & ACCESSORIES/BALI BECIK?

You find all necessary information at our "How to order" - page and more details at our "Terms & Conditions" - page.

 

Q2: How can we ship the merchandise? 

You can ship your merchandise either by Air or by Sea. More details you find at our "Shipping"- page. 

 

Q3: Are your prices FOB?

Our prices are ex Factory. If requested, we recommend shipping companies to handle a shipment.

 

Q4: How can we pay for the merchandise?

50% Deposit payment is required by time of ordering with us. The Balance 50% has to be settled after your merchandise is consigned by us to your shipping company or handling agent. We currently accept payments by bankers transfer and by Western Union. Customers can also pay by credit card to the shipping company.

 

Q5: How to calculate shipping costs?

We won't know the exact shipping cost until we pack up the shipment. It always depends on the size and weight of the items you order. But we provide you with an estimation of shipping costs before we process the order. You have the choice between various local shipping companies whose contact details you find on our "Shipping"-page. Smaller order, usually retail orders, can be shipped with FedEx, DHL or UPS, though it is more expensive than with a local shipping company. We don't make money from shipping. Only the actual shipping costs will be charged.

 

Q6: Do you accept Letter of Credit? 

No, we don't.

 

Q7: Do you handle custom orders? 

Yes we do. Please feel free to forward any specials or requests about items which can not be found on our Site. We are happy to serve you in this way. 

 

Q8: Is it possible, that you act as our Buying agent? 

Yes it is. Please forward us your queries in this matter.

 

Q9: Is it possible to order less than minimum quantity? 

Our prices are based on minimum quantities. If you want to order less than minimum quantity, retail price applies. 

 

Q10: Do you wholesale to USA?

Yes. We wholesale to U.S. markets, Canada as well as other countries.  We welcome any resellers in USA, big or small. American resellers still profit from the favorable Dollar exchange rate. Currently the US-market holds about a 70% share of our total exports. U.S. wholesale customers mark up usually 3 to 10 times of our wholesale prices to their retail prices in U.S., what earns them a very good profit.

 

Q11: If I order from USA, do I have to pay customs duty?

Please visit US customs web site http://www.customs.treas.gov/impoexpo/impoexpo.htm to check for detailed information.

  • Shipments with value under US$200 might be duty free.
  • If you are charged for the duty, the duty rate for our products are as following:
    Wood Carvings: 3.2% - most of our handicrafts belong to this category.
    Jewelry: 5%
  • FedEx, DHL and UPS will clear the customs for you and guarantee on time delivery.

 

Q12: Are the prices shown on your web site your wholesale prices?

Some of our wholesale prices are shown on the site and the newest version of the wholesale price list can be requested by e-mail. Wholesale prices not shown on the site have to be requested by clicking on on of our e-mail links, Subject - wholesale prices. Please note, that we will send wholesale price list only to qualified buyers.We offer Special discounts for bulk orders and offer further special prices for those wholesale customers who want to be our representatives in their respective country.

 

Q13: Do you offer a catalogue?

Yes, we do. To remain paper free in that matter, we offer you the actual version of our web site on CD/DVD. This keeps the overhead costs low and we are so able to offer you better prices. To request a catalogue on CD/DVD, just drop us an e-mail with your contact details and address. For qualified wholesale customers the catalogue is free of charge for others we only charge for mailing.

 

Q14: Do you operate a showroom?

Yes, we do operate a showroom with a furniture and interior craft selection in Bali/Indonesia. Please make an appointment to visit.
